Popp Dental is Dr. Bryson Popp’s own dental practice on Hixson Pike in Chattanooga — a new chapter he’s building for himself, for his patients, and for the neighborhood he grew up in.
The goal here is simple: keep visits uncomplicated, keep the office uncluttered, and treat every patient — from a toddler’s first cleaning to a grandparent’s new crown — like family.
Why Dr. Popp Opened His Own Practice
Dr. Popp is a Chattanooga native — a graduate of Baylor School and UTC who finished dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis before coming home to practice. Popp Dental is his own office, separate from his family’s other practice, built the way he wants to run it: unhurried, honest about costs and options, and focused on the patient in the chair.
That means you’ll always know who you’re seeing and what to expect — no rotating cast of providers, no generic script. Just a local dentist building something of his own for the community that raised him.
A Simple, Comfortable Visit
We keep the office simple on purpose: music, a pillow if you’d like one, and a TV to help the time pass during longer appointments. We use a digital X-ray and an intraoral scanner, so exams are faster and easier to understand — you’ll see what we see, in plain language.
